Description
The 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3), which will take place in June 2025 in Nice, will bring together world leaders to commit to more ambitious actions for ocean protection.
At a time when critical decisions for the planet’s future are at stake, it is essential that students’ voices are heard in this forum. Mini 30x30 is a global and collaborative initiative that aims to mobilize students in advocating for ocean protection.
The ultimate goal is to present an open letter to the United Nations, conveying a unified message from students urging Member States to commit to protecting 30% of the ocean by 2030 (the 30x30 target).
